• New providers in Sheboygan & West Bend
  Effective January 1, 2009, Humana Preferred, the high performance network available exclusively to BHCG members, has added to its provider network St. Nicholas Hospital and the Physicians’ Health Network (PHN) in Sheboygan and St. Joseph’s Hospital and the West Bend Clinic in West Bend.
• Humana Wisconsin achieves Excellent accreditation status
  Humana was recently awarded the highest level of accreditation status, “Excellent”, by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). NCQA, the gold standard in health plan accreditation, awards its “Excellent” status to, “organizations with programs for service and clinical quality that meet or exceed rigorous requirements for consumer protection and quality improvement.”
• Spanish language option
  Humana’s BHCG-dedicated service unit has added a Spanish language option to its 800# interactive voice response (IVR) system.
• Expanded outpatient pricing information at myhumana.com
  Humana has added pricing information for five additional outpatient procedures at myhumana.com. Cost estimates based on contracted rates are now available for 31 outpatient procedures.
• Website enhancement
