Businesses and Media Looking to Us as Model for Meaningful Change

Every day, BHCG members’ successes are turning heads at more businesses. And those companies are becoming members themselves. More than 600 employers are now participating in the BHCG, including some of the area’s largest and best-known corporations, as well as hundreds of small and mid-sized businesses.

Nationwide Notoriety
We’re getting noticed by industry publications and media around the country. Case in point: this article (pdf) that the BHCG contributed to CDHC Solutions, the first and only magazine exclusively focusing on the changing landscape of health care benefits. “The New Health Care Model Requires Educating Health Care Consumers” shares some of our strategies and results with consumer-driven health care initiatives.

This publication was impressed with the mission of our organization and some of the activities we have undertaken. Therefore, they recently decided to run another article, which announced the second grant the BCHG received from Novo Nordisk to continue our work, increasing the number of physicians recognized in diabetic care and management by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
