How It Works

The BHCG offers exclusive access to the Humana Preferred (BHCG), a set of plan offerings supported by a high performance network in Southeast Wisconsin. The unique Humana Preferred (BHCG) product, which is designed to deliver cost efficiencies to member employers and their employees, is available only to companies that are members of BHCG for their employees in the eleven-county region the network serves.

What We Offer

Employers of all sizes, self-insured as well as fully insured, may join BHCG and have access to Humana Preferred (BHCG). Working with their brokers or Humana directly, they may choose from a variety of health plan offerings that use Humana Preferred (BHCG). There are options for self-funded employers with 100 or more participating employees, and various benefit plan offerings for fully insured employers with two or more participating employees. Customized benefit designs are available for self-funded employers with 300 or more participating employees.

Participating companies have reported substantial savings in 2006 rates compared to their previous insurance plans.
